The Hatteras line of classic wood post caps includes pressure-treated wood and cedar post caps. The Casco, Flat Top, and Pyramid styles add natural wood panache to your posts, while our Copper Top style makes them shine with the burnished beauty of copper. Add a little something to your post with this Casco flat bottom wooden cap.

Best if the underside of the cap is painted or sealed. Apply an exterior construction or marine grade adhesive to the bottom of the post cap. Center the cap on your post. When you are satisfied, carefully hammer 2-4 finishing nails through the cap and into the post. Slightly countersink the nails and cover the holes with putty and lightly sand smooth. Finish the cap with paint or stain of your choice to add beauty to your project and to protect the caps from the elements.
